TankCure Egg cure

With all the bite stimulants you need built in! TankCure Egg cure just gets it done! This is a "hot" salmon cure. Crafted for Chinook and Coho on the Washington coast, this cure has found great success from Alaska to the great lakes! 

Instructions: 

1. START WITH GOOD EGGS!!!  If you start with bad eggs, you get bad eggs. Bleed your fish, NEVER let your eggs touch the water! Keep them clean and free of sand. 
2. Butter fly your skeins. I prefer to just open them with my hands, but a sharp knife or scissors work fine. This helps get an even coverage of cure on your eggs. 
3. Start on the eggs side, lay them flat (I use puppy pee pads for doing this, makes clean up easy and keeps eggs from getting stuff you don't want on them). 
4.  Sprinkle cure on eggs, get between the folds ( i like to massage the cure in a bit. Make sure you have enough to cover all the berries but remember, this is a hot cure you can add to much! Its not a super hot cure, but the risk is still there. I have yet to burn any eggs myself with it, but I have seen it one time. 
5. Flip over, get some on the skien side and rub in. 
6. Add to gallon bag (or a jar if you're into that), roll the eggs around to make sure the cure is getting into the eggs. 
7. For the first 2-3 hours, roll the eggs around every 15-20 minutes. As they start to juice, you want the juice to touch all the eggs. DO NOT DUMP OUT THIS JUICE! if you do...im not responsible for your crappy eggs. You are buying this cure for its bite stimulants and dumping out that juice wastes most of it! 
8. After the first couple hours, let the eggs sit at room temp for 10 more hours (or so). The eggs will re-absorb all the precious liquid! Flip the bag every so often to make sure the cure is getting through all the skeins. 
9. After the 10-12 hours, into the fridge for a few weeks or into the freezer (however you prefer to keep eggs frozen). 
10. Because this is a wet, hot salmon cure, i prefer to cut into baits after they cure and let them sit out to dry for a few hours the night before fishing. 

This is my prefered way to cure eggs, with the exception of draining the juice, cure them the way you normally cure eggs.
